AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF GUIDELINES RELATING TO GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENT EDUCATION PRACTICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to develop guidelines on gifted and talented student education practices, including identifying proper methodologies, best classroom practices and best practices in teacher development, and to distribute such guidelines to local and regional boards of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve opportunities for gifted and talented students.
