AN ACT CONCERNING THE TEACHING OF CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT PROGRAMS AT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to permit individuals who are otherwise qualified to teach certified nursing assistant programs at technical high schools to teach such programs at public high schools under the jurisdiction of a local or regional board of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To resolve the disparity between the certification requirements for teaching certified nursing assistant programs at technical high schools and comprehensive high schools.
