AN ACT CONCERNING CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECKS TO BE CONDUCTED BY REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-221d of the general statutes be amended to require regional educational service centers to conduct and make available criminal history records checks of prospective teachers for member boards of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce mandates on school districts.
