AN ACT CONCERNING THE CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN CONTRACTORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-222c of the general statutes be amended to permit a contractor who is an applicant for a position with several local and regional boards of education and required to submit to a criminal history records check, to submit to a single criminal history records check and provide the results of such criminal history records check to each such local and regional board of education.

Statement of Purpose: 

To ease the burden on certain contractors doing work for school districts.
