AN ACT CONCERNING FAILING CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2017) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection may adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, to establish a program to aid owners of residential and commercial buildings with failing concrete foundations in the repair or replacement of such foundations.

Statement of Purpose: 

To permit the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to adopt regulations to establish a program to aid owners of residential and commercial buildings with failing concrete foundations.
