AN ACT REQUIRING THE REGISTRATION OF CERTAIN ALL -
TERRAIN VEHICLES TO FUND THE MAINTENANCE OF ALL -
TERRAIN VEHICLE TRAILS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require the registration of 1 
any all-terrain vehicle that is not solely operated on the property of the 2 
vehicle's owner and that such annual registration fee be thirty dollars. 3 
Additionally, the revenue from such registration fees would be 4 
required to be used by the Department of Energy and Environmental 5 
Protection to maintain all-terrain vehicle trails on state property. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
 To provide a funding source for the creation and maintenance of all-
terrain vehicle trails on state property.
