AN ACT CONCERNING COMPENSATION FOR FAMILY MEMBERS
WHO MANAGE STATE -SUPPORTED CARE FOR LOVED ONES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioners of Social Services and Developmental Services to 2
authorize payments from the Community First Choice program for 3
family members who manage care provided to persons eligible to 4
receive services under the Medicaid state plan option. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow relatives who manage care for eligible family members to be
compensated under the Community First Choice program.
