AN ACT CONCERNING SCHOOL SECURITY AT SCHOOLS BEING 
USED AS POLLING PLACES ON ELECTION DAY. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 10-222n of the general statutes be amended to authorize 1 
local and regional boards of education to amend their school security 2 
and safety plans to allow school personnel at a school that is being 3 
used as a polling place on election day to require any person who 4 
enters such school to present a valid photographic identification card, 5 
provided such school has previously adopted a policy that all persons 6 
entering such school present a valid photographic identification card. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To enhance school security.
