AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF MEAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME IN
THE EDUCATION COST -SHARING GRANT FORMULA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to revise 1
the formula used to calculate equalization aid grants to towns by 2
replacing the median household income with the mean household 3
income. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To make revisions to the education cost-sharing grant formula.
