AN ACT CONCERNING COMMEMORATIVE MOTOR VEHICLE
PLATES FOR VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-20b of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1
the fee charged by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles for the 2
issuance of commemorative number plates for veterans and members 3
of the armed forces. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow veterans and members of the armed forces to obtain
commemorative number plates at no additional cost beyond the cost to
register a motor vehicle.
