AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESSES THAT 
HIRE RECENT GRADUATES OF INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER 
EDUCATION LOCATED IN CONNECTICUT. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for 1 
businesses that hire individuals who have recently graduated from a 2 
public or private institution of higher education that is located in this 3 
state. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To establish a tax credit for businesses that hire individuals who have 
recently graduated from a public or private institution of higher 
education that is located in this state.
