AN ACT CONCERNING THE UPDATING OF STATE FORMS AND
GENDER IDENTITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require state agencies to 1
update all forms or applications used by the public that require the 2
person filling out such form or application to indicate a gender to 3
include a nonbinary gender option. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require all state agency forms and applications to be updated with a
nonbinary gender option.
