AN ACT CONCERNING TH E UPDATING OF STATE FORMS AND
APPLICATIONS TO INCLUDE A NONBINARY GENDER OPT ION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2020) Each state agency of the 1
Executive Department shall update all printed and electronic forms 2
and applications used by the public that require the person filling out 3
such form or application to indicate a gender to include a nonbinary 4
gender option. 5
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 January 1, 2020 New section
