AN ACT INCREASING THE HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 52-352b of the general statutes be amended to increase 1
the homestead exemption from seventy-five thousand dollars to five 2
hundred thousand dollars. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the homestead exemption to a level that is equivalent to
the level of the exemption provided in Massachusetts and Rhode
Island.
