AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE WAIVER OF CERTAIN PENALTIES
RELATED TO A GRAND LIST EXEMPTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the town of Bloomfield be permitted to waive the penalty for 1
late filing and grand list tax exemption disqualification of a 2
corporation otherwise eligible for a 2018 grand list exemption, 3
provided such corporation (1) requested and was granted an extension 4
of time to file, and (2) paid all taxes due by the extended deadline. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the town of Bloomfield to waive a late filing penalty and
restore a grand list tax exemption for which a corporation is otherwise
qualified.
