AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF LICENSE PLATES FROM
UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 14 of the general statutes be amended to permit a police 1
officer to remove the license plates from a motor vehicle registered in 2
another state upon a determination that such vehicle is subject to 3
property taxation in this state and such vehicle has not been registered 4
in this state. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit police officers to remove license plates from certain
unregistered motor vehicles.
