AN ACT CONCERNING POST -TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER 
ISSUES IMPACTING VETERANS INVOLVED IN THE CRIMINAL 
JUSTICE SYSTEM. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require the Judicial 1 
Department to include in the training programs currently provided to 2 
judges information related to mental health and post-traumatic stress 3 
disorder issues facing veterans who are involved in the criminal justice 4 
system. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide judges with information related to mental health and post-
traumatic stress disorder issues that may impact veterans involved in 
the criminal justice system.
