AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE TAX IMPLICATIONS OF 
ALLOWING BENEFIT LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES UNDER 
STATE LAW. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the chairs and ranking members of the joint standing 1 
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 2 
relating to finance, revenue and bonding study and evaluate the 3 
potential tax implications of allowing companies to organize as benefit 4 
limited liability companies under state law. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require the chairs and ranking members of the finance committee to 
study and evaluate the potential tax implications of allowing 
companies to organize as benefit limited liability companies under 
state law.
