AN ACT EXTENDING THE PERIOD CHILDREN MAY RETAIN DENTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE UNDER THEIR PARENTS' INSURANCE POLICIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 each health insurance policy providing dental coverage shall provide 2 that dental coverage of a child shall terminate no earlier than the policy 3 anniversary date on or after the date on which the child attains the age 4 of twenty-six. 5 Statement of Purpose: To allow children to retain dental insurance coverage under their parents' insurance policies until they attain the age of twenty-six.
