AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF A CAP ON CHARGES FOR THE
TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to require the Public 1
Utilities Regulatory Authority to study implementing a cap on how 2
much electric distribution companies charge for the transmission and 3
distribution of electricity. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to study a cap on
charges for the transmission and distribution of electricity.
