AN ACT CONCERNING THE STORAGE OF EVICTED TENANTS'
POSSESSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 47a-42 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1
the requirement that municipalities store the possessions of evicted 2
tenants, and to require such tenants to be responsible for all costs 3
associated with the transport, storage and disposition of such tenants' 4
possessions. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that municipalities store the possessions
of evicted tenants.
