Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of board 1 certification and maintenance of board certification of a health care 2 provider as a condition for licensure, hospital privileges and insurance 3 credentialing. 4 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit the use of board certification and maintenance of board certification as a prerequisite for licensure, hospital privileges and insurance credentialing of a health care provider.
