AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE APPEAL OF ANIMAL CONTROL
OFFICER ORDERS DIRECTLY TO THE SUPERIOR COURT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any appeal of 1
an animal control officer order be taken to the Superior Court rather 2
than to the Department of Agriculture. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To expedite appeals of animal control officer orders and minimize the
time impounded animals are held at taxpayer expense.
