AN ACT IMPOSING A TAX ON VAPOR PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to impose a tax on vapor 1
products at the same rate as cigarettes, with fifty per cent of the tax 2
revenue from each such sale returned to the municipality where the 3
sale was made, to be used for education and prevention programs and 4
the installation of vapor detectors in school bathrooms. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a tax on vapor products.
