AN ACT REQUIRING PHARMACIES TO INSTALL PRESCRIPTION
DRUG DROP-BOXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require pharmacies to 1
install and maintain drop-boxes for the disposal of unused 2
prescription medication and to install signage indicating the location 3
of such boxes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require drop-boxes for the disposal of unused prescription
medication at pharmacies.
