AN ACT EXTENDING THE HOURS OF ELECTION DAY 
REGISTRATION. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 
applicants in line for election day registration prior to eight o'clock 2 
p.m. shall be admitted as electors and permitted to cast a vote in a 3 
regular election. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To permit applicants in line for election day registration prior to eight 
o'clock p.m. to be admitted as electors and cast a vote in a regular 
election.
