AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF CERTAIN
GRANTS TO PRIVATE COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 2 of the general statutes be amended to require a vote by 1
the General Assembly to approve the award of grants over a certain 2
sum to individual companies by executive branch agencies prior to 3
such award. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure oversight of government distribution of taxpayer funds.
