AN ACT CONCERNING OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 14-227a of the general statutes be amended to provide 1 that if at such time the driver's blood contained five nanograms or 2 more of delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol per milliliter in whole blood, as 3 shown by analysis of the defendant's blood, such fact shall give rise to 4 a permissible inference that the defendant was under the influence of 5 one or more drugs. 6 Statement of Purpose: To provide for a permissible inference that a defendant was under the influence of one or more drugs.
