AN ACT INCREASING THE PENALTIES FOR THE SALE OF
FENTANYL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 21a of the general statute be amended to redefine "narcotic 1
substance" by adding fentanyl and fentanyl derivatives in order to 2
increase penalties for dealing such substances. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase penalties for the sale of fentanyl.
