AN ACT CONCERNING TARGET PISTOLS DESIGNED FOR USE IN
THE OLYMPIC GAMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subparagraphs (B) to (F), inclusive, of subdivision (1) of section 1
53-202a of the general statutes be amended to exclude from the 2
definition of "assault weapon" any .22 caliber rimfire target pistol that 3
is designed for use in target shooting events at the Olympic games 4
sponsored by the International Olympic Committee. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude from the definition of "assault weapon" any rimfire target
pistols that are designed for use in target shooting events at the
Olympic games.
