AN ACT CONCERNING THE ENTRY OF A MONEY JUDGMENT IN A 
SUMMARY PROCESS ACTION. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That chapter 832 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 
in a summary process action the court may, in addition to ordering 2 
that a landlord recover possession of the rented premises, enter a 3 
money judgment in favor of the landlord that includes outstanding 4 
rent payments and other fees owed by the tenant, attorney's fees and 5 
costs. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To permit a court to enter a money judgment in a summary process 
action.
