AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF LOCAL CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND GRANTS FOR THE REMOVAL OF CERTAIN
TREES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (4) of subsection (a) of section 7-536 of the general 1
statutes be amended to add "the removal of dead or dangerous trees 2
located near municipal roads and buildings" to the definition of "local 3
capital improvement project". 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to use Local Capital Improvement Fund
grants for the removal of dead or dangerous trees located near
municipal roads and buildings.
