AN ACT PERMITTING MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL DECISION -MAKING
FOR CERTAIN SCHOOL -RELATED EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to 1
make financial decisions regarding school-related expenses that are not 2
directly related to core educational functions. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reserve to municipalities decision-making authority regarding the
provision of school-related noneducational services.
