AN ACT CONCERNING AID IN DYING FOR TERMINALLY ILL
PATIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow a physician to 1
dispense or prescribe medication at the request of a mentally 2
competent patient that has a terminal illness to seek an appropriate 3
means of ending their lives. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide aid in dying to terminally ill patients.
