AN ACT LIMITING THE USE OF POLYFLUOROALKYL CHEMICALS IN
CERTAIN PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of 1
polyfluoroalkyl chemicals in products, including, but not limited to, 2
food packaging and firefighting foam, provided the Department of 3
Public Health confirms the availability of reasonable alternatives to 4
such chemicals. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the use of polyfluoroalkyl chemicals in certain products.
