AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY REGARDING PUBLIC -PRIVATE
PARTNERSHIPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of 1
Transportation shall (1) conduct a study to identify best practices of 2
established public-private partnerships, and (2) make 3
recommendations to implement such practices and create a framework 4
for public-private partnerships to thrive in this state. Not later than 5
January 1, 2020, the commissioner shall submit the results of such 6
study, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 7
statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly 8
having cognizance of matters relating to transportation. 9
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To study best practices of established public-private partnerships and
make recommendations to create a framework for public-private
partnerships to thrive in this state.
