AN ACT ELIMINATING RETIREE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS
FOR LEGISLATORS WHOSE BENEFITS HAVE NOT VESTED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that no legislator 1
shall receive state retiree health insurance benefits unless such benefits 2
vest on or before June 30, 2019. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate retiree health insurance benefits for certain legislators.
