AN ACT CONCERNING THE LEGISLATIVE TRANSPORTATION
ALLOWANCE AND PENSION CALCULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude the 1
transportation allowance received by members of the General 2
Assembly from the calculations of base salary for purposes of 3
determining such members' retirement income. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To remove mileage reimbursement from legislator pension
calculations to reduce the expense.
