AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF CREATING A STATE BANK TO SERVICE THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: To require the Department of Banking to study the feasibility of 1 creating a state bank to service the cannabis industry by taking 2 deposits, making loans and providing other financial services to 3 including, but not limited to, cannabis producers, distributors and 4 retailers. 5 Statement of Purpose: To study the state's ability to support a cannabis industry.
