AN ACT CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF SLOTS FOR STATE -
FUNDED CHILD CARE CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 8-210 of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
child care center to use the same percentage of slots for families at or 2
below seventy-five per cent of the state median income as school 3
readiness programs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To achieve parity between child care centers and school readiness
programs in the allocation of state-funded slots.
