AN ACT CONCERNING ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEE PAID BY
MULTICHANNEL VIDEO PROGRAMMING DISTRIBUTORS TO
COMPANIES OR ORGANIZATIONS RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNITY
ACCESS PROGRAMMING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 16-331a of the general statutes be amended to require 1
the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to establish the fee that the 2
company or organization responsible for community access operations 3
will receive from multichannel video programming distributors for 4
every customer account served under their multichannel video 5
programming distributor license. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to establish a fee
paid by multichannel video programming distributors to the
companies or organizations responsible for community access
operations.
