AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE
STANDARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of 1
Education from utilizing and adopting the Next Generation Science 2
Standards and requiring the use of those standards utilized prior to 3
such adoption. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the use and adoption of Next Generation Science
Standards and require the use of any such standards used prior to such
adoption.
