AN ACT CONCERNING THE FINES FOR LITTERING AND ILLEGAL
DUMPING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 22a-250 of the general statutes be 1
amended to increase the maximum fine for littering to one thousand 2
dollars. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the deterrent to litter or dump refuse illegally.
