AN ACT PROHIBITING PERSONS CONVICTED OF ANIMAL ABUSE
FROM ADOPTING ANIMALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any individual 1
convicted of animal abuse from adopting an animal. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any individual who is convicted of animal abuse from
adopting an animal.
