AN ACT CONCERNING COASTLINE RESILIENCY TO SEA LEVEL
RISE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection to study coastline resiliency to 2
rising sea levels and to report back to the General Assembly within one 3
year with recommended policy changes and identification of issues on 4
which the state, municipalities and the federal government should 5
cooperate to best preserve the state's coastline. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure coastline resiliency in light of rising sea levels.
