Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to phase out the estate tax 1
over a five-year period, commencing January 1, 2019. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To phase out the estate tax over five years, commencing January 1,
2019.
