AN ACT MODERNIZING THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT TO BENEFIT 
SMALL DISTILLERIES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 30-16 of the general statutes be amended to remove 1 
"nor more than five gallons of alcoholic liquor in any two-month 2 
period" and by allowing the holder of a manufacturer permit to sell at 3 
retail sealed bottles for on-premises consumption. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To modernize the liquor control act to benefit small distilleries.
