AN ACT CREATING A WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to consolidate the joint 1
standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of 2
matters relating to finance and appropriations into a joint standing 3
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 4
relating to ways and means. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To create a comprehensive budget committee that considers both
revenues and expenditures rather than the current process which
establishes expenditures independent of revenue.
