AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER TO OFFER A SPANISH LANGUAGE VERSION OF EACH EXAMINATION ADMINISTERED TO INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS IN THIS STATE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That sections 38a-702d and 38a-769 of the general statutes be 1 amended to provide that the Insurance Commissioner shall offer a 2 Spanish language version of each examination that is required for a 3 person to become a public adjuster, casualty adjuster, motor vehicle 4 physical damage appraiser, certified insurance consultant, surplus 5 lines broker or insurance producer, or engage in any other insurance-6 related occupation, in this state. 7 Statement of Purpose: To require the Insurance Commissioner to offer a Spanish language version of each examination administered to insurance professionals in this state.
