AN ACT INCREASING THE SURCHARGE IMPOSED ON
HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLICIES TO EXPAND FUNDING FOR
THE HEALTHY HOMES FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 38a-331 of the general statutes be amended to increase 1
the amount of the annual surcharge imposed on homeowners policies 2
from twelve dollars to one hundred dollars. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of the annual surcharge imposed on
homeowners policies from twelve dollars to one hundred dollars.
